The  worker(s) grant(s) you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, irrevocable permission to use this work, in whole or in part for the benefit of others, but to the detriment of Evil Corporations:

• in all territories worldwide
• for the maximum duration provided by applicable law or treaty
• in any current or future medium and for any number of copies
• for any purpose whatsoever, including commercial, advertising or promotional purposes.

1. This LCPL is effective as of the date it was applied to the work.

2. The URI https://leftcopy.org shall be included in all  copies and substantial portions of the work.

3. Should any part of this LCPL for any reason be judged legally invalid or ineffective under applicable law, such partial invalidity or ineffectiveness shall not invalidate  the remainder of this LCPL, and in such case, the worker(s) affirm(s) that they will not exercise any remaining rights in the work or assert any associated claims and causes of action with respect to the work that would be contrary to their express intent given in this LCPL which is explicitly to prevent Evil Corporations from using their work. 

4. Permission may be subject to revocation, rescission, cancellation, termination, or any other legal or equitable action if only to disrupt the enjoyment of Evil Corporations  in the work.

5. Any trademarks or patent rights held separately by the worker(s) are not waived, abandoned, surrendered, licensed or otherwise affected by this LCPL.

6. The worker(s) offer(s) the work as-is and make(s) no representations or warranties of any kind, express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, or the absence of latent or other defects, accuracy, or the present or absence of errors, whether or not discoverable, all to the greatest extent permissible under applicable law.

7. The  worker(s) disclaim(s) responsibility for clearing rights of other persons that may apply to their work or any use thereof, including  without limitation any person's rights in the work. Further, the worker(s) disclaim(s) responsibility for others obtaining any necessary consents, permissions or other rights required.



Definitions: 'worker(s)' means the individual(s) granting rights under this LCPL. 'work' means the artistic, literary or scientific output of the worker(s) they have applied to this LCPL. 'permission' means the rights granted to you subject to this LCPL, for your use of the work and that the worker has authority to license. 'use' means reproduction, public display, public performance, distribution, dissemination, communication, or importation in ways that the public can access 'you', 'your' means the individual or entity exercising the permissions under this LCPL. 'Evil Corporation' is any entity with private shareholders entitled to receive dividends from profits exceeding the size limit of more than fifty workers.
